Communication with Suppliers and Customers

The lawgivers require that the market participants provide certain information along the delivery chain. There are communication and informational obligations, for example in connection with safety data sheets, but also in regard to substances of very high concern (SVHC) or general limits for pollutants in the context of the REACH regulation. Most of the time, the lawgivers regulate the “What”, but often not the “How” of it.

Creation of a valid, communicable database is the prerequisite. It is often not easy to pick out what is important and right from the predominant data overkill. We assist with querying only truly relevant data and checking what is returned for correctness and completeness. We take care of queries to test labs, suppliers and customers in Germany and abroad because this exchange often requires in-depth knowledge.

Statutory innovations, such as the regular extension of the SVHC list, frequently generate a flood of complex questionnaires from customers about hazardous substances in products. Working together with our customers, we develop a solution for integrating the flows of information that create obligations under the law and individual enquiries in the internal procedures in such a way that they are comprehensive, reliable yet can be fulfilled efficiently at the same time.
