Emergency Telephone Number for Poisoning
Section 1.4 of each SDS must state an emergency telephone number that can be called to immediately obtain competent information on how to handle a particular emergency. We recommend that the number of an official poison information centre be stated here because they can be reached at all times and provide the best possible requisite qualifications. For this to work, however, the poison information centre must have a copy of the SDS, and this is generally possible only on the basis of a contract concluded with this centre.
Alternatively, we also offer our customers inclusion of their safety data sheets in the asseso collection at the poison information centre in Mainz (Germany).
In many EU member states one must state the number of an official information centre in section 1.4 of the SDS. In the case of products that are exported, we collect the information required for section 1.4 of the SDS, conclude the corresponding contracts and take care of communication with the relevant national authority.
